At ANCKRD, we provide comprehensive psychological and educational assessments designed to help understand how individuals learn, develop, and succeed. Our services support young children, school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults by identifying learning differences, attention-related challenges, developmental concerns, gifted abilities, social-emotional needs, and other factors that may impact academic or personal growth.
Founded by Kristen Wilson, LPES, NCSP, ANCKRD is committed to delivering thorough, individualized evaluation processes in order to provide meaningful insight and practical solutions. Every assessment begins with a detailed consultation to understand the unique concerns, goals, and circumstances of the individual and family. This personalized approach allows us to develop evaluation plans that are both relevant and effective.
Our assessment process is designed to provide clear answers, actionable recommendations, and a roadmap for success. We provide individualized information to help families navigate educational systems, access appropriate accommodations and support services, and make informed decisions regarding intervention strategies, therapies, and educational planning.
Understanding When an Assessment May Be Helpful
Every individual develops and learns differently. While children reach milestones at their own pace, there are times when families, educators, or healthcare providers begin to notice challenges that may benefit from a more comprehensive understanding.
Parents often contact ANCKRD when they have questions about learning, attention, academic performance, communication, development, or behavior. Others may be seeking answers after recommendations from a teacher, physician, therapist, or school team.
A comprehensive evaluation can help identify strengths, clarify areas of concern, and provide practical recommendations that support educational planning and future decision-making. Whether questions involve learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, or academic achievement, our goal is to provide information that helps families better understand the next steps.
Comprehensive Assessment Services
Every evaluation is individualized to address the unique concerns of the individual being assessed. Depending on the referral question, assessments may examine cognitive abilities, academic skills, learning processes, attention, executive functioning, adaptive behavior, social-emotional functioning, and developmental skills.

Every individual and family comes to ANCKRD with a unique set of questions, concerns, and goals. Our assessment process is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the individual's strengths and areas of need while offering practical recommendations that can be used at home, in school, and throughout daily life.
We believe families should understand not only the results of an evaluation, but also how those results can be used to support future learning, development, and educational planning.
Initial Consultation
Every engagement begins with a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns, goals, and questions. This conversation helps us determine the most appropriate assessment approach and ensures that our services align with your specific needs.
Comprehensive Intake
We conduct an in-depth intake meeting with parents, caregivers, or the individual being evaluated. During this session, we gather background information, review developmental and educational history, and identify areas of strength, challenge, and concern.
Evaluation & Assessment
Our assessment process may include individualized testing sessions, behavioral observations, record reviews, and input from parents, teachers, healthcare providers, or other professionals when appropriate. This comprehensive approach allows us to develop a complete understanding of the individual's unique profile.
Results & Recommendations
Once the evaluation is complete, we meet with the individual and/or family to review the findings in detail. We explain assessment results in clear, understandable language and provide practical recommendations, support strategies, intervention options, and guidance for educational planning or accommodations. Our goal is to ensure you leave with clarity, confidence, and a path forward in your child's educational journey.
